Enter the Rose through a set of green doors into a hallway. Decorated with style and whimsy, see if you can count how many roses adorn this zimmer. Rose candles, rose paintings, rose bedding, straw hats with roses – come for a visit and see for yourself!
The charming galley-style kitchen is on your left with its arched windows framed by stone. It features a fridge/freezer, sink, two-burner electric hotplate?, microwave oven, mugs, plates, glasses and wine glasses and ample cupboard space. A journey to times past, there is even an original Betty Crocker cookbook on the counter! Behind the kitchen and just down the hall is a small sitting area decorated with Dutch antique furniture, including wooden table that seats six, a couch and arm chairs. There is also a flat screen TV with cable. Guests can enjoy free internet access.
The hall leads to a bedroom with two wrought-iron single beds covered by romantic pink flowered bedding. The window offers views across the Old City and towards the Meiron Mountains. There is air conditioning as well as a ceiling fan. The second bedroom is similar, featuring two single beds, a ceiling fan and air conditioning.
The bathroom offers a stall shower, pedestal sink and pink rose curtains (of course!) The hallway leads to a small balcony where you can enjoy the sun setting behind the Meiron Mountains.
Additional Information: All of the guest houses have air conditioning/heating and lots of hanging space for clothes in each room. The shops, galleries and synagogues of Tzfat are steps away, while the restaurants and stores of the midrechov are just a five -minute walk. Paid parking is available outside the City Hall, a five-minute walk away. Or, you can drive your car right down Bar Yochai Street and park outside the Rose (space permitting). The Rose sleeps four guests comfortably. You can ask for an additional pullout bed and crib to accommodate up to five guests.
